Today, a really, really, tuned down side of my closet. I had no idea that I even had this top! But I actually think it's kinda cute and tried to combine it. And it's also my first 'real' look on lookbook!

I really like this glittery outfit! I really have something with glitters lately... Mhhh.. Wonder how that comes! Also, school started again! The perfecttime to dress my best! I already have a few outfit posts stored for you guys, but I don't want to spam ya! So I'll maybe upload one a day? 

Project: Winter Blues

I already posted it on my Dutch blog. But when I was scrolling on Tumblr I found this amazing look I wanted to share with all of you!

I want to make my own version of this look, and that's my project for the upcoming weeks!
What I am going to need for this look:
- A black 'cape'
- Bright blue dress
- Black tights or malliot.
- Matching blue shoes
- Black or blue scarf and gloves
- Black or blue earwarmers
- Maybe Armwarmers (?)

And I might add some matching accesoires. But yeah, this is the project I am going to work on from now on. And I hope it'll look good on me! I just simply love this look, for some reason. It's time to go down E-bay Lane and visit a lot of shops for these items! When I have an update I'll put it on my blog!

Rainbow Explosion

Yeah, Yeah, I know. This is the second time already that I change my name. But I just couldn't connect with Laces and Ribbons for some reason. It just didn't feel like my blog. And Nurdy Diary still didn't feel right as well..

So after thinking for a long time, I finally came up with a name. I made a few lists with stuff I liked, and the thing that I like the most, are colors. I want rainbow jeans and dresses and stuff.. So something with Rainbow in it.. I began putting words before and behind it. In the end, I was doubting between Over the Rainbow and Rainbow Explosion. And because Overtherainbow was already taken, it became Rainbow Explosion. I made a quick header, and tadaa! Let's hope I actually keep this one!

Clothes and Chocolate

 

Today I went to a friends house and kinda destroyed the shirt I was wearing. So I dived into her closet and found this amazing shirt and stole a belt as well to finish the outfit with. This is the result. After that we went outside to make a few pictures, and because we were bored. We also got some chocolate we wanted to eat, so we decided to go on a little picnick.

Oh! We also made a few pictures of the chocolate. It. Was. Delicious. We got them at the 'n joy chocolate in my town. Did I already say it was delecious? When you're in Holland, and your visiting Dordrecht, dude, go to the Vriesestraat! GO THERE AND GET SOME CHOCOLATE!

A picture of the chocolate we had. We also got a few fruit-bits. It was really nice. We got pear, apple and cinnamon, lavender and peach. The fruit pieces were Apple, Mango and Strawberry. They all were delicious. But I reccomend the apple and cinnamon ones!

Yeah.. Maybe I'm a chocaholic.. Hehe.

Happy shopping

It was a wonderful day. The sun was shining and the wind was blowing our asses off. But still I was determined to wear a dress today, without a legging. But I took the legging with me anyway, just in case. I wore my new white mary-janes underneath. Because we where too busy shopping, I didn't get a full body shot with my shoes on it. SO you're still getting a shot with that one day, when I find another outfit to go with the shoes!

My friend really spoiled me. She bought me 2 dresses and a lot of sewing stuff. I'm going to learn how to sew my own clothes! I can't wait to get started. This Tuesday the Sewing Fabric Market is in the big city, so we're going to that one as well. I need blue fabric for a skirt I want to make. I also got a white dress, that I'm going to alter with all kinds of stuff. I still want a jeans jacket though. I've got one, but that's also my normal jacket.. I'm not allowed to alter that one. Ah well, maybe I'll get one cheap on the market next week!

Also, have some pictures of our awesome lunch. The lemonade was divine, and they made it look quite cute. We lunched at the La Place, with muffins and icecream, because we wouldn't be us if we don't get some icecream!
